Full-service portal for quick and easy sitters hiring
SOSsitter is a service designed for the busy-too-much-to-do parent and provides a link between families looking for nannies, babysitters, senior caregivers, special needs caregivers, pet sitters and housekeepers offering their services on occasional or regular bases, live-in or live-out, during school year or summer, at various rates.
SOSsitter was created by a single mom who found it very difficult to find a suitable nanny and then a babysitter for her son.
Main features of the project are:
- searching;
- posting jobs;
- messaging;
- making payments (PayPal, Beanstream);
- profile/job/family viewing;
- rights system and other abilities for users.
Unicsoft team was in charge of rebuilding the old website. The main technical challenges of the project resolved by the team were processing recurrent payments and making multi languages website.
